A talented trio of a celebrity author, host, and painter, a potter whose works conquered The Louvre in Paris, and a talented potter who preserves the beauty of old architecture in her works, joined forces in this rare collaboration to depict what happiness looks like in their mind.
Betty Wu, who is best known as an author and celebrity TV and radio host, has a less-known identity – a painter. Despite her image of a strong business woman, her works are always about fairytales. Her works in this exhibition depicts the anticipation and happiness in reuniting with the loved ones.
Yu-Ying Huang, one of the most acclaimed potters in Taiwan, loves snorkeling and all types of outdoor activities. Her happiness is to be able to immerse herself in the beauty of Mother Nature. Her Ocean World inspired works depict the lively ocean world through the unique shapes and glittering glazes.
Ming-Shiang Hsu, a potter who loves the beauty of old architecture. Being able to preserve the beauty and memory of old architecture is her biggest happiness. You will find the old touches and elements perfectly preserved and transformed in her marvelous works.

Dozens of solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad
The unforgettable love for ancient buildings, every brick and tile is so memorable, or even maddeningly, the protection of historical sites makes the author feel that this is a sense of mission, so I try to transfer the touch of traditional architecture to modern life. On the objects, or even the pursuit of defined “beauty” or classic fashion items, move towards a different creative form in the past.
Yu-ying Huang graduated from the prestigious National Taiwan Normal University with a master’s degree in Industrial Technology Education, Yu-Ying Huang has developed an award-winning career in ceramics over the years. Her works have won honors in the top ceramic competitions in Taiwan and Japan. She has also held over a hundreds of acclaimed solo and group exhibitions.
Her works were exhibited in Taiwan’s President’s Office, The Louvre in Paris, and acquired by various museums in Lithuania, Ireland, Estonia, China, Japan, and United States. She was constantly invited to academic conferences around the world and was elected as a member of the IAC (International Academy of Ceramics) in 2017.
With a degree in law, Chinese literature, business management, economy, and history.
I like to explore on different adventures while maintaining a passion for painting.
Despite facing challenging realities in real life, I continue to create my own fairy tales by painting my fantasies, and I don’t want this to ever change a bit.
Painting is a way of self-healing that keeps me up at night with a smile on my face devoted to the wonderland.
